Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince Screenings

The Princess Anne Theatre and in The Run Run Shaw from 17th July 2009.

Wow your guests with the opportunity to hire the film privately and enjoy a family day out in the infamous surroundings of BAFTA.

What’s available? A champagne reception (or juice for the kids) with wonderful wizard canapés served in the David Lean Room before taking your seats to watch this extraordinary epic adventure film in our state-of-the art facilities.

3D screenings

BAFTA is very excited to now offer

3D in the Princess Anne Theatre

Gone are the days of the ugly paper glasses and welcome to the era of amazing graphics and incredible viewing experiences for everyone. The technology that surrounds new 3D feature is so advanced that you really feel like you are within the film for its entire duration.

In March BAFTA held a premier of 3D 'Monsters vs Aliens’ for Netjets Management Ltd that left the audience ‘ooohing and ahhhing’ long after the film had finished. During the screening Netjets had fantastic 3D activities in the David Lean Room organised by Boo! Entertainment. The event was a huge success that offered something very different to the usual cinema goer.

“Everyone had a fabulous time. The 80 guests at the pre-release screening of ‘Monsters vs Aliens’ not only enjoyed every minute of the movie they loved the 3-D aspect too. A definite hit!”

Meet the Team

Jenny Bones – Head of Corporate Events

Jenny was lucky enough to be born in Sydney, Australia, to parents who regularly travelled the world. Whilst travelling with the family, Jenny experienced the hospitality industry first hand which quickly instilled a passion within her. Not afraid of hard work, she started working in hospitality and events from the early age of 13, firstly in a busy tea room followed by a popular pub for a number of years.

After completing her ‘A’ levels Jenny moved to France to run a catered chalet for 6 months with Ski Esprit - throwing herself into the role and fitting in as much skiing as possible! Her love for the industry grew from the experience and she subsequently studied International Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Surrey.

At University Jenny proactively organised events for a number of societies including the Food and Wine Society, at famous venues such as Mossimann’s and the Waterside Inn. During University Jenny partook in an industrial one year placement where she worked for Reed and Mackay Event Management, on the events and incentive travel team. Here she organised conferences, parties and trips predominantly for pharmaceutical companies. This year was an invaluable insight into London’s fast-paced corporate events industry.

On returning to University for her final year Jenny continued to work for a number of catering companies, in the campus bar and restaurant and at renowned events such as Wimbledon and the Queens Club Tennis Championships.

After graduating, Jenny began working for Claridge’s Hotel in the Events Department where she learnt valuable skills in 5 star service. In 2007 Jenny was head hunted to work at 195 Piccadilly, BAFTA, where she has recently been made head of the Events Department. She was proud to be part of 195 winning Event Magazine Venue of the Year and now looks forward to building on the fabulous portfolio of events and retaining the title!
